Strike starlet eyed

Leicester are reported to be targeting a move for young striker Jack Harrison, who is currently starring for New York City.

The 20-year-old was on the books of Manchester United before he moved Stateside as a 14-year-old, but reports claim he could soon be heading back to England.

Harrison has fired home 10 goals for his MLS side this season, which has resulted in a call-up to the England under-21s and also alerted a host of clubs to his ability ahead of the January transfer window opening.

Everton and Brighton are also said to be keeping tabs on the player, who could be available for just £6million, and New York City are bracing themselves for plenty of interest in the new year.

Reports claim that Everton are in the box seat to do a deal, so the Foxes will have to pull out all the stops to have a chance of luring the youngster to the King Power Stadium.
