Striker staying at Foxes

Leicester City boss Claude Puel is reportedly keen to keep hold of striker Kelechi Iheanacho during January.

There have been reports that the Foxes are ready to off load the £25m man this January as he has struggled to make much of an impact at the club since his big money move from Manchester City last summer.

The Nigerian international has been told by Puel that he needs to improve in all areas and he was handed just a ten minute run out in the FA Cup draw at Fleetwood whilst being restricted to just two Premier league matches this season.

This led to speculation he would be on his way this winter but local media reports claim that is not the case and it is more likely that Islam Slimani or Leonardo Ulloa will be more likely to be on their way this month.
