Leicester: Summer signing pushing for Leicester start

The German shot stopper made the move from Hannover, where he had been the No.1 choice since 2011, to the Foxes during the summer but has had to play second fiddle to Kasper Schmeichel thus far.
A couple of injuries to Schmeichel have given the 27-year-old a taster of English football, Zieler starting the last two matches against Burnley and Chelsea.
However, it is expected Schmeichel will return to the starting line-up for Saturday's clash against Manchester United, pushing Zieler back on to the bench.
Zieler says he expected to start life on the bench for Leicester but is hopeful he can force his way into Claudio Ranieri's plans over time.

"There were several options in the summer," Zieler told German football newspaper Kicker. "Spain, and also the Bundesliga. Leicester was a snap chance, a huge challenge. And it still is.
"Everything needs time, and I also want to relish it a bit. I will cut my path here, and it's already working out okay. You can never say what will be in six months or a year.
"That's not a problem [to be on the bench]. But after constantly playing at Hannover the bench felt a bit strange for me. I'll admit that.
"It was clear that Kasper Schmeichel would have an advantage after his last season. I just need to be ready when I am needed."
