Trio return lift for Foxes

Vicente Iborra, Kelechi Iheanacho and Robert Huth could start Leicester's trip to Huddersfield after their Under-23s run-outs.

Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare has been unable to hand a debut to Spanish midfielder Iborra, who joined in a £12million deal from Sevilla during the transfer window, after he suffered a groin injury during pre-season training.

However, the 29-year-old came through a full 90 minutes and got on the scoresheet in the Under-23s' 3-1 win over West Ham United on Monday night and he now looks set to feature against the Terriers at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.

Nigerian forward Iheanacho, who joined from Manchester City in a £25million in the summer, staked his claim for a first start with a goal in an 80-minute appearance.

"It was terrific to see Kelechi and Vinny (Iborra), they both look like quality recruitments," said development coach Steve Beaglehole.

"They both looked real quality players and needed the game for fitness."

Meanwhile, German defender,Huth marked his comeback from ankle surgery with a full 90 minutes under his belt in the game at the King Power Stadium.

Meanwhile, there is still no update with regard to Leicester's possible appeal against FIFA's decision to reject the submission of request for Adrien Silva's International Transfer Certificate.

The Foxes agreed a £22million deal with Sporting Lisbon on transfer deadline day for his signature, but FIFA are refusing to sanction the move because the FA received his digital documentation 14 seconds after the deadline.
