Slade's injury nightmare nearly over

Leyton Orient, Updated:

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade is hopeful the club's injury crisis will clear up in time for this weekend's clash with Brentford.

Slade had to field a patched-up team for Saturday's 2-0 defeat Tranmere with eight first-team players sidelined.
"Dean Cox was a late withdrawal after he picked up a knock in training on Friday," said Slade.

"Kevin Lisbie has had a lump on his hip which was causing him a problem for weeks and at some point we were going to have to rest it, which we did, in the hope he could be available for Saturday.
"There's a chance with Scott Cuthbert, there's a chance with Ryan Dickson and Dean Leacock, so there is a possibility of three, four, maybe five of them being available for next Saturday."
