Belgians keen on Anfield winger
Anderlecht are hoping to beat three Dutch clubs to the signing of Liverpool's Oussama Assaidi while Andre Wisdom could be off to Derby.
The Belgian giants have targeted the 24-year-old left-sided attacker who has fallen out of favour at Anfield since the arrival of Phillipe Coutinho in January.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has also strengthened his options in wide areas with the signings of Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas, signalling that Assaidi is potentially surplus to requirements.
Anderlecht coach John van den Brom has admitted sounding out the Moroccan international, who he knows well from his Heerenveen days, about the move to Brussels.
"Assaidi is a concrete target", Van den Brom told Het Nieuwsblad.
"I know him very well and also spoke with him already. I know he prefers a transfer to Anderlecht over a return to the Netherlands. What are the conditions for him coming and whether it is a loan or final purchase ? You should ask (Anderlecht general manager) Herman Van Holsbeeck. If we wait too long, we may risk missing out on him."
Ajax, Feyenoord and Twente are the three Dutch clubs understood to be in the running.
Rodgers could also be about to let Wisdom leave Anfield on loan for the whole of next season with Derby understood to be very interested.
Rams boss Nigel Clough has been scouring the Premier League for a right-back to take on loan and has also been linked to Jack Robinson.
