Fitness check for defender

Rafa Benitez will give a late fitness check to Daniel Agger to see if he is fit to face Everton but Fernando Torres should start.
The Danish centre-half missed last week's draw with Stoke because of a calf problem and, with Martin Skrtel fit, Agger may have to settle for a place on the bench at best.
Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa have recovered from their respective foot and hamstring injuries and Torres looks set to start his first match at Anfield since the Champions League clash with Marseille back in November.
He has now totally recovered from the hamstring injury which has plagued his season and Benitz's big decision up front will be whether to partner Robbie Keane with Torres for only the seventh time in the league this season.
The Spanish ace will be desperate to get among the goals as he has not scored at home in the league since a strike against Manchester City last May.
