Henderson wants England spot
Jordan Henderson is desperate to be given the opportunity to impress for England against Chile tonight or Germany on Tuesday.
The Liverpool midfielder admits to being a frustrated spectator when he was left out of the World Cup qualifiers last time around and he is hoping to cement a place in Roy Hodgson's squad ahead of next summer's World Cup finals.
Henderson has not player for England since the Euro 2012 quarter-final defeat to Italy but he is back in the squad for the next two friendlies and is desperate to stay there having watched them qualify for next summer's extravaganza on television.
"You get a few days off (when not picked for international duty) but I didn't really enjoy it to be honest," he said.
"I want England to do well and I thought they were brilliant but it was disappointing I had a couple of days off and was watching it on the telly."
