Klopp's men have had a busy summer, playing eight warm-up games ahead of Saturday's kick-off at Watford.
Liverpool are unbeaten in pre-season, aside from losing on penalties in the Audi Cup against Atletico Madrid, and have looked sharp with some impressive performances against Crystal Palace and Leicester in the Asia Trophy in Hong Kong, while wins over Bayern Munich, Hertha Berlin and Athletic Bilbao have also been well received.
Klopp has had the unwelcome distraction of Barcelona attempting to sign Philippe Coutinho in the past week but the German manager is happy with how the preparation has gone ahead of the real business getting underway.
He said: "The players are in a good mood, attitude in training sessions really good. Now we have to deliver and we’ll be ready for it.
"Pre-season was intense but it was outstanding. When you go to foreign countries you think ‘oh my God, how big is this club?"
Klopp was speaking at a press conference where the club announced a deal with Western Union for the money transfer company to become their first shirt sleeve sponsor, in a lucrative "multi-year partnership".
The Western Union logo will appear on Liverpool shirt sleeves this season.
