Klopp dealt major Mane blow

Liverpool are set to be without Sadio Mane for around six weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered on international duty.

The former Southampton man was part of the Senegal side that won 2-0 against Cape Verde Islands in their latest World Cup qualifier, but the Reds ace was substituted with a minute remaining.

It's since been revealed that Mane suffered a hamstring problem and Liverpool have confirmed that he could be missing for the next six weeks, which would see him missing nine matches.

As well as being out of Saturday's clash with Manchester United, Mane is expected to be sidelined for another five Premier League games including those against Tottenham and Chelsea.

The 25-year-old, who missed three matches following his sending off at Manchester City last month, is also likely to sit out three Champions League fixtures - the double-header against Maribor and the trip to Sevilla.
