The Reds have continued to stand by the Brazil international and they rejected a £90million bid from Barcelona for the 25-year-old on Wednesday.
Barcelona were expected to return with a second but they then had an offer turned down for Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele.
The Spanish giants are on the lookout for a replacement for Neymar after his move to Paris Saint-Germain, but Liverpool insists Coutinho will still be at Anfield at the end of August.
In a statement on their official website, they said: "We wish to offer clarity as regards our position on a possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho.
"The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes."
