Alexis Sanchez is heading to Manchester City and not Barcelona this summer, according to Udinese owner Gianpaolo Pozzo.

The Serie A side have placed a £44million price-tag on the Chile international's head, although City boss Roberto Mancini values the highly-rated player at £30million.
Barcelona were believed to be winning the race to sign Sanchez, but Pozzo insists: "If he was to leave, I would say that City have the highest probability of success."

Sanchez is set to represent his country at next month's Copa America, with Chile scheduled to play Mexico in their opening group match on July 4 before coming up against Uruguay and Peru.
Sanchez made his Udinese debut during the 2008/09 campaign and enjoyed a particularly productive season last term, scoring 12 Serie A goals, including four in the 7-0 rout of Palermo four months ago.
He formed a lethal partnership with Antonio de Natale as Udinese finished fourth in the table, so earning a spot in the play-off round of this season's Champions League.
