City stars unscathed after international action

Sergio Aguero, Nicolas Otamendi, Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and John Stones all came through internationals unscathed this weekend.

The Manchester City quintet were involved in friendly matches for their national sides who have all already qualified for the World Cup finals in Russia next year.

Aguero scored an 86th-minute winner as Argentina claimed a win against the hosts in Moscow.

City's record goalscorer started in attack with Lionel Messi and headed home at the second attempt from close range.

He was substituted shortly afterwards while Otamendi played the full match at the back without any problems.

De Bruyne got 45 minutes of football in Brussels as Belgium and Mexico played out a highly entertaining 3-3 draw.

Stones helped England keep a clean sheet against world champions Germany at Wembley and team-mate Walker was introduced as a late substitute to seal the 0-0 draw.
