Inter Milan are reportedly targeting a summer raid on Manchester City for full-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
The 27-year-old could be allowed to leave Eastlands by incoming boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is tipped to continue to use Gael Clichy as the club's first-choice left-back in the upcoming 2013-14 campaign.
Inter, after a shocking season in Serie A in which they failed to qualify for Europe, are looking to overhaul their squad over the summer and Kolarov could be a key part of a new-look side at the San Siro.
Kolarov, who upset some City fans on Twitter at the end of the season, is thought to be open about a return to Italy although his high wage demands could scupper any potential deal.
The Russia international joined City for around £16million from Lazio in 2010 but last season struggled for regular first-team starts under old boss Roberto Mancini and could be moved on for as little as £5million before the new campaign gets underway.
