Toure could leave - agent
Man City, Latest news update:
Yaya Toure will quit Manchester City if he is not offered a new, improved contract by the end of the week, according to his agent.
Toure still has two years left on the deal he signed in the summer of 2010 and earns in the region of £220,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium.
However, discussions over a new contract have stalled in recent months and his agent Dimitri Seluk has now gone public over the player's frustrations.
Seluk says the player will seek to find a new club if he is not offered fresh terms by the end of the week.
He insists, though, that money is not an issue and the Ivory Coast international would be happy to extend his stay at the Premier League champions.
"If he signs a contract in the next three or four days, OK. If not, we will not wait any longer and will start negotiations with different clubs," he told The Sun.
"Today is Tuesday, so it means by Saturday. We will say 'Thank you. OK, Yaya will leave in May'.
"I do not feel he will stay at City. This is not about money. He wants to leave because of many reasons.
"He is one of the best players at Manchester City but does not feel the respect of the staff. Only Roberto Mancini respects Yaya."
