Man City: Yaya ready to buy into Guardiola's ideas

The Ivorian midfielder had appeared destined for a January exit but made a sensational return to the starting line-up in the win over Crystal Palace, scoring both goals in City's 2-1 success, and kept his place in the side for the following Premier League game against Burnley at the weekend.
However, Toure missed the midweek Champions League draw with Germany's Borussia Monchengladbach after being omitted from their European squad.
It seemed as if there would be no way for Toure to salvage his City career under Guardiola but after two successive Premier League starts the dynamic midfielder has hailed the Catalan coach and is desperate to feature regularly for the former Barcelona boss.
The 33-year-old has now stressed he intends to remain at the Etihad Stadium as he wants to earn a Champions League recall for the knockout stages, which begin in February after the winter transfer window has closed.

Speaking to reporters after Saturday's 2-1 win over Burnley, he said: "Of course, that's why I stayed at City. The most important thing is to help the team, and to also help the manager, who is very, very intelligent, very strong tactically.
"I think when the team gets all of his ideas we are going to be a great team.
"I have to keep working because [Guardiola] is a very, very, very professional person and he really likes football.
"I think that the most important thing for me is to keep working...those who work hardest always have more opportunities to play."
