Red Devils keep tabs on Keane

Manchester United had their spies watching former academy graduate Michael Keane in Burnley's weekend defeat to Manchester City.

The Clarets central defender is touted for a potential return to Old Trafford, who he joined as a schoolboy at 10 years of age.

And it would appear the Red Devils are serious after paying Turf Moor a visit on Saturday.

Stockport-born Keane didn't have the best of games, failing to prevent City striker Sergio Aguero bagging a victory brace for Pep Guardiola's team.

England caretaker boss Gareth Southgate was also present to watch the 23-year-old go through his paces.
