Rivals in for Rams ace

Liverpool hope to pip Manchester United to the signing of Derby midfielder Will Hughes by agreeing to match their £10million valuation.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to secure a deal for the talented youngster but knows he will have to move quickly if he is to fight off interest from United.
Rams boss Steve McClaren has confirmed the Rams are willing to cash in during the January transfer window but any interested club will have to match their valuation.
The going rate for the 18-year-old appears to be £10million and Rodgers is keen to get the deal lined up now so he can swoop as soon as the transfer window opens.
