Man United: United the only focus for Carrick

The 35-year-old is once more playing the waiting game over his future having been kept in the dark by the Red Devils as to whether he would be awarded a new contract until the off-season.
Eventually, the former England international signed a one-year deal but the question now is whether United will offer him fresh terms.
Boss Jose Mourinho has suggested he would like to keep Carrick around, despite using him sparingly this season, and the midfielder has admitted he would like to stay at Old Trafford, revealing he would find it difficult to play for a different team.

"[Leaving Man Utd] is not something I am looking to do at the minute - it would be very difficult to play somewhere else," he told the Daily Mail.
"Everyone is different. It depends on circumstance. It depends on a lot of things.
"I have said all along, I am relaxed about [my United future]. It depends if I am playing and if I am playing well enough, if I feel I can contribute, if the manager feels I can contribute.
"There are a lot of things to be decided. I am quite relaxed."
