Watford have been boosted by the news Andre Gray and Christian Kabasele could be fit enough to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Hornets have been without Gray for the past month due to a lower leg injury but he participated fully in training on Thursday to bolster his chances of being in the squad for the short trip to Selhurst Park.

Kabasele was involved in training for the first time since he took a heavy blow during the Boxing Day defeat to Chelsea and Gracia admits both men could make his matchday squad.

‘It’s a little bit soon for them to play in one or two days, but we’ll see,’ the Watford head coach said.

With Kabasele and Gray fit again it means Watford‘s only injury absentee is Sebastian Prodl as he continues his rehabilitation following a knee injury.

Gracia is likely to make sweeping changes from last week’s FA Cup third-round win at Woking with Gerard Deulofeu and Troy Deeney having started that match on the bench.
