Newcastle Record-signing pushing for start against Wolves
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez must decide whether Miguel Almiron is ready to make his debut against Wolves on Monday.
The Paraguayan was signed for a club-record fee on transfer deadline day but he was unable to feature against Tottenham after failing to get a visa. Almiron has since attained the correct paperwork and is expected to play some part against Wolves, although it may be from the bench.
Newcastle’s injury issues have eased with the likes of Karl Darlow, Paul Dummett, Mohamed Diame, Ki Sung-yeung and Joselu all available. Japan international forward Yoshinori Muto is also back with the squad after his exploits at the Asian Cup.
