Midfielder Josh Payne has been ruled out for the rest of the season following an ankle problem and will have an operation next week.

Jimmy Smith, who has made only three appearances this campaign, is also sidelined for the remainder of the season after sustaining a knee injury in September.

Winger Luke Gambin has missed the last six games with a hip problem and is expected to return shortly but not in time to face the Shrimps.
