Seagulls duo to miss Man City clash
Brighton’s only absentees for the final Premier League game of the season against Manchester City are Davy Propper and Jose Izquierdo.
Dutch midfielder Propper has a hamstring issue while Colombian winger Izquierdo is out with a knee problem.
Seagulls captain Bruno is set for his final game before retiring from playing and will be given a rapturous send off by the home fans at the Amex Stadium.
With the Premier League title at stake for visitors City, Albion boss Chris Hughton has warned Pep Guardiola’s side that his side will be playing to win.
‘It’s a home game for us,’ he said.
‘Irrespective of the results we have had against the big team, our philosophy has always been the same – how can we win this football match? ‘It so happens that this game has a lot of meaning and we have to treat it with the respect it deserves.
We have to try our best to get a result.’
