The Gunners have won 10 successive Premier League home games against Leicester, but their first game form will be a slight concern for Arsene Wenger, with Arsenal winning just one of their opening league matches in the last seven seasons.
They do go into the game in upbeat mood though, following their Community Shield victory over Chelsea last weekend, with two new signings looking set to make their league debuts.
Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac impressed at Wembley and are likely to start, although Alexis Sanchez is unavailable due to an abdominal injury. Laurent Koscielny is suspended, while Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are both expected to undergo fitness tests.
Leicester are also set to hand debuts to two summer signings, Harry Maguire and Kelechi Iheanacho, although Craig Shakespeare has a number of injury problems to contend will.
Midfielder do Danny Drinkwater and Vicente Iborra are both sidelined and Robert Huth is unavailable after his summer ankle operation.
