Stoke City v Chelsea

Stoke are the latest side that will try and stop Chelsea’s march towards the Premier League title when the two sides clash on Saturday.

The Potters head into the weekend ninth in the standings and they are unbeaten in their last eight top-flight matches on home soil.

Mark Hughes’men are also unbeaten in their last two home matches against Chelsea, securing a 1-0 win the league last season and a penalty shootout success in the League Cup.

Hughes will be boosted by the news that Marko Arnautovic is fit after the Austrian missed the draw against Manchester City last time out through illness, while on-loan forward Wilfried Bony is available after being ineligible against his parent club.

Xherdan Shaqiri is also back in contention following a six-week injury absence, but Glenn Johnson misses out once again due to a shoulder problem.

Chelsea can move 13 points clear of their title rivals on a temporary basis at least if they secure a victory at the bet365 Stadium, as the sides directly below them in the standings are not in action until Sunday.

Antonio Conte’s men have been in phenomenal form this season, losing just one of their last 21 top-flight games, although they have only won two of their last five league matches on the road.

Conte has kept his cards close to his chest in regards to any injury doubts he has ahead of the match, although a couple of unnamed players will be assessed before of kick-off.

Victor Moses is expected to be available despite being substituted during Monday night’s FA Cup triumph over Manchester United with a calf complaint.

Chelsea won the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge 4-2 earlier in the season, with Willian, Gary Cahill and Diego Costa getting on the score sheet.
