Interim head coach Steve Agnew hopes to have Bernardo Espinosa and Rudy Gestede available to face Manchester United on Sunday.

Middlesbrough: Duo could return from wilderness

Defender Espinosa and striker Gestede limped out of last Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester City with hamstring problems.
But both have resumed training and the latter is closer than the former to making himself available.

Midfielder Adlene Guedioura is available after being cup-tied last weekend but Boro will once again have to do without injured defensive trio George Friend (calf), Daniel Ayala (hamstring) and Calum Chambers (foot).
Stewart Downing and Patrick Bamford are expected to be back in the frame after being left out of the last two matchday squads by former boss Aitor Karanka.
Provisional squad: Valdes, Guzan, Barragan, Fabio, Gibson, Espinosa, Husband, Fry, De Roon, Clayton, Forshaw, Leadbitter, Guedioura, Downing, Stuani, Traore, Fischer, Negredo, Gestede, Bamford.
