Karanka demands end to Boro errors

Aitor Karanka says Middlesbrough need to cut out the mistakes that have cost them in recent weeks if they are to end their losing run.
The Teesiders made a solid start on their return to the Premier League, collecting five point from the first three matches, but have struggled in their last two games against Crystal Palace and Everton.
Having lost both of those matches, Boro are facing their first test of character as they prepare to welcome an unbeaten Tottenham side to the Riverside on Saturday.
Karanka says individual errors have cost his team and says they can not afford to repeat those mistakes against Spurs if they are to avoid slipping closer to the relegation zone.
He said: “I think we need to fix our mistakes. We’ve only won one in five but the only game we were a bit lost was the last game.
“It’s obviously disappointing when you concede and they come from mistakes. But it’s not to be concerned, we have to fix them. We are now against some of the best teams and they’re taking advantage of our mistakes."
Despite losing the last two, Karanka is refusing to panic and says confidence is high within the camp that they can stay in the Premier League this term.
"I've always been fighting to win something. This season it's the first time I'm losing games and are fighting for another aim," he added.
"Now we need to keep going and be confident. I said two weeks ago I was really pleased with the club's work in the summer."
