Silva not bothered by inquiry
Marco Silva insists he is not being troubled by an independent inquiry into how Everton recruited the former Watford coach.
The Premier League confirmed on Friday that it has set up an independent inquiry into his appointment at Goodison Park.
Watford have been unhappy with Everton‘s approach since last season and lawyers will now be able to request emails, text messages and phone records between the three parties.
Everton could face a fine or even docked points, although the latter scenario would be unlikely, but Silva insists he has not even thought about the situation.
He told reporters: ‘I don’t have thoughts about this. I don’t lose my focus, I am really calm about the situation and my focus is only on what is important for me and us as a club.
‘I don’t hear and I don’t read anything about that. It is not important for us or for me as a manager.’
