Trezeguet returns to Juve
Juventus have confirmed that former striker David Trezeguet has been appointed as an official ambassador for the club.
The former France striker has decided to return to the club, eight years after he left as a player.
Trezeguet, who is the Bianconeri’s all-time foreign top goalscorer, was already the player-President of the legends team, but he will now take on a new role with the Serie A champions.
Confirming the appointment, a statement from the club read: ‘David Trezeguet is a true Juventus icon. So it’s only fitting that he has today been appointed an official Brand Ambassador for the club, extending a bond that has so far been characterised by wonderful success.
‘For the next three years, Trezeguet will represent the Juventus brand in the field of global commercial development.
‘The club is currently focusing on a two-pronged approach combining on-field success with commercial brand development around the world, and Trezeguet will be the perfect ambassador to continue this growth through global events involving fans and sponsors.’
