No panic from PSV boss
PSV boss Mark van Bommel says there will be no ‘reaction’ after their 100% start to the season came to an end at Feyenoord.
The Eindhoven club won their opening 13 games of the Eredivisie season but came unstuck at Feyenoord over the weekend as they went down 2-1.
Van Bommel remains relaxed despite the loss, and rejected any talk of a reaction from PSV.
‘No, we are not going to show a reaction, but just do the same as we always do,’ he told the club website. ‘It is not that after thirteen times profit and one loss everything is going to topple.’
Van Bommel also revealed he is also unlikely to make changes to his side for their next assignment, a home game against Excelsior on Friday.
‘No, probably not,’ he said when asked if he was planning to change his team. ‘I am a trainer who always draws up the team that I think we can win. It’s that simple.’
