Piazon ready to make Italy switch
Lucas Piazon’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has revealed the Chelsea winger would welcome a January move to the Serie A.
Former Brazil Under-23 international Piazon joined Chelsea’s youth ranks in 2011 but he has failed to make any real impact on the first-team squad, having made just one appearance for the senior side.
The 24-year-old has been sent out on loan numerous times, with his latest temporary spell coming with Fulham as he helped the Cottagers win promotion from the Championship last season via the playoffs.
However, despite impressing in the last campaign, the winger has been shunned by Maurizio Sarri and a January exit looks to be on the cards with his future looking bleak at Stamford Bridge.
Several Serie A teams are believed to be interested in Piazon, including Lazio, Sampdoria and AC Milan, and his agent has revealed a move to Italy would be of interest to his client.
He was quoted as saying by calciomercato.com: ‘He would be very glad to come to Italy’.
