Lozano summer bid on cards for Napoli
Reports in Italy claim Napoli have set the wheels in motion to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has caught the eye in his 18 months with PSV, scoring 34 goals from 61 appearances in all competitions.
The forward has also been capped 34 times by Mexico and it seemed inevitable that one of Europe’s bigger clubs would come calling sooner rather than later.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are hoping to sign the player in the summer but club president Aurelio de Laurentiis is already on the case, having set aside 30million euros for the deal.
It has also been claimed the Serie A outfit would be prepared to include former Ajax winger Amin Younes in the deal, with De Laurentiis having spoken to Lozano’s agent Mino Raiola.
Lozano has a contract with PSV until 2023 but, with other big-hitters such as Barcelona and Chelsea also thought to be keen, it seems as though his days at PSV are numbered.
