Bordeaux star Kamano’s agent rubbishes big-money bid reports
Bordeaux winger Francois Kamano’s agent claims Watford have not bid 1 million euros for his services – or made any contact about him.
Reports in France claimed the Hornets had tabled an offer which could see the Ligue 1 side end up securing total of 17m euros with add-ons for the services of the 22-year-old Guinea international.
Kamano has been linked with a host of clubs in this transfer window and was subsequently left out of the Bordeaux side for their 2-0 win over Angers earlier this week while his future is being determined.
It appeared that Watford had stolen a march on their rivals to sign Kamano although his agent insists that is not the case.
Hugo Varela told L’Equipe: ‘It’s speculation, no one from them has contacted us.’
And, when asked about Kamano being left out of the team, Varela added: ‘It’s not a trivial situation, but the coach is in charge of the team and we must accept his decisions. Players have feelings, they are not machines.’
