Celtic boss offers positive injury news
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed Odsonne Edouard is back in first-team training and Olivier Ntcham is also close to a return.
Edouard has had knee and adductor problems this season but is now back working with his team-mates and is expected to be available for either Wednesday’s game against St Mirren or when the Hoops take on Hamilton on Saturday.
Ntcham is also progressing well from his minor injury setback and is likely to be fit by the end of the month.
Rodgers said: ‘Odsonne Edouard is back in now training with the squad which is great news. Olivier Ntcham will be back training with them next week.’
Celtic sit top of the SPL and although Glasgow rivals Rangers are on the same points in second, Rodgers’ side have the benefits of a better goal difference as well as a game in hand.
