QPR boss Steve McClaren is gunning for a win over Premier League outfit Watford in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Rangers secured their spot in the last 16 on Tuesday night with a 2-0 win over Portsmouth in a fourth-round replay. QPR will entertain Watford in the next round as they bid to reach the quarter-finals. McClaren is well aware his side will have to be on top form to overcome their top-flight opponents but is convinced QPR can come out on top. ‘Anything can happen in the FA Cup,’ he said. ‘We’re at home, it’s on a Friday night under the lights, it’s on TV. It’s an opportunity for certain individuals and the team to show themselves against Premier League opponents. ‘Watford are very strong and we’ll have to put a top performance in to get any kind of result.’ QPR host Watford in the FA Cup fifth round on February 15.
