Boss urges Burke to return a better player from Celtic stay
West Brom boss Darren Moore appears to have closed the door on Oliver Burke extending his Celtic stay beyond the end of the season.
The Scotland international has scored three in five league games for Brendan Rodgers’ side and has suggested that he is enjoying life so much at Celtic that he could see himself staying beyond the end of the campaign. Moore has made it clear where he stands on the ex-Nottingham Forest and RB Leipzig star’s future and it sounds like he has big plans for him once he return to the Hawthorns. ‘As far as we are concerned we sent Oli up there to get some games,’ said the former defender. ‘To play at a level that we thought was right for him. ‘We couldn’t have thought of anywhere better for him. The opportunity of Celtic coming in for him and working under the manager up there. That would help him develop to get him to where we think he should be. ‘Hopefully we get him back in the summer and see a more rounded Oli Burke because of the matches he has played.’
