O’Neill hints at changes for Baggies clash
Martin O’Neill has hinted at one or two changes when Nottingham Forest face West Brom on Tuesday in search of back-to-back wins.
O’Neill wants Forest to target their first back-to-back success since September but knows he must consider the physical demands of three games in seven days on his players – with a trip to Preston to follow next Saturday.
‘I think we will look at that; we will see how we get on and how a few players come out of this game,’ he said after his side beat Brentford 2-1 on Saturday. ‘We do have options, with Jack Colback and Yohan Benalouane coming back from suspension.
Yohan is getting better every single day.’ O’Neill is aware of the size of the task facing his team as Forest try to force their way back into the play-off picture in the final 15 matches of the campaign.
‘It is a big task for us but yes, absolutely. That is our target,’ he added. ‘When you look at the results this weekend, when you are looking at trying to climb the table, you would say that they did not go all that well for us.
‘The teams around us generally won. But we cannot do anything about that, we have to just try to win the games ourselves.’
