Atletico target too expensive
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are still keen to take Everton’s Richarlison to La Liga but are unlikely to be able to afford him.
The Goodison Park outfit paid a fee which could rise to £50m, depending on add ons, when they signed the Brazilian from Watford to reunite him with his former boss Marco Silva last summer.
Atletico are keen to land him and their technical director Andrea Berta has apparently held discussions with the forward’s entourage to sound out the player’s interest in a move.
Reports in Spain though claim that Diego Simeone’s side will not force the transfer if Everton price the 2016 Champions League finalists out of the market, which they will if they start talking in figures around the £50m mark.
