Milan keen to tie down winger
Reports claim AC Milan are set to hand winger Suso a new contract as they look to add in an enhanced release clause.
The 25-year-old, who started out his professional career with Liverpool, joined Milan in the summer of 2015 on the expiration of his deal at Anfield.
After spending the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Genoa, he returned to the San Siro and tied down a regular spot.
He has started 22 of their 23 Serie A games this term, scoring five times, and the club are keen to ensure he stays long term.
Suso’s current deal, which expires in the summer of 2022, contains a 40million euros release clause and Milan want to raise that fee to fend off potential suitors.
Reports claim they will enter into talks with the Spaniard, who appears keen on sticking around, during the second half of the season.
