Loan on cards for United ace
Manchester United could allow Andreas Pereira to join another Premier League team on loan after his stay was extended earlier this week.
The Red Devils were loath to let the talented Belgium-born Brazil midfielder walk away this summer for free and triggered their option of a further 12 months.
United still believe Pereira can have a big future at Old Trafford and want him to commit to a longer-term contract before the start of next season.
It’s understood they are also willing to offer the 23-year-old further assurances, which may include the academy graduate being allowed to join a direct ‘non rival’ in England on loan next term.
United chiefs do accept the academy graduate needs to be now playing regularly and doesn’t want to be farmed out again to a club on the continent, having spent time in Spain at Granada and Valencia.
Pereira has received first-team opportunities under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is believed to have also spoken privately with the player.
Leicester City are admirers and United know there would be no shortage of top-flight takers, which would help placate Pereira and keep his progression firmly on the radar.
