Brighton striker Glenn Murray insists he will do his best to prepare his side for the FA Cup trip to Millwall this weekend.

The Seagulls will visit Millwall on Sunday and the winners will secure a trip to Wembley.

The Lions have enjoyed a tremendous few years in the competition and have already beaten Premier League side Everton this year.

Murray and co head into the game on the back of a superb win over Crystal Palace although the veteran admits some of the club’s recent signings have no idea what to expect.

The 35-year-old insists everyone in a Brighton shirt needs to expect a bruising battle as they try to stop Millwall‘s progress.

He told The Argus: ‘We’ll sit them down and give them the heads-up.

They’ve probably never been anywhere like that before.

‘Our first priority is to be safe in the Premier League.

But, if we can have a successful FA Cup run, I’m sure the fans would appreciate a day out at Wembley, and it could turn into a successful season for us.

‘We’re fully aware it’s going to be a very tough game.’
