Wycombe have been fined 7,250 and Sunderland 6,000 following a touchline fracas in stoppage time of their fiery League One clash last weekend.

Three players, two who had already been substituted, were sent off after Duncan Watmore’s stoppage-time equaliser secured a 1-1 draw for Sunderland.

A melee involving the two benches resulted in Wycombe’s Nathan Tyson and Sunderland‘s George Honeyman being shown red cards.

Marcus Bean was then dismissed for the hosts after receiving a second yellow card for a foul on Watmore.

A Football Association spokesperson said: ‘Both clubs accepted charges for failing to ensure their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour and/or violent conduct during the 95th minute.’
