Foxes want Monaco starlet for good
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is hoping to wrap up a permanent deal for Monaco ace Youri Tielemans, who is impressing while on loan.
The 21-year-old joined the English Premier League side in January on a six-month loan deal that saw Adrien Silva head in the opposite direction.
The Belgium international has started seven Premier League games for the Foxes, who have no expressed a desire to keep him at the King Power Stadium.
There are certain to be negotiations over the youngster’s future during the summer and Rodgers hopes the outcome is positive.
‘He had arrived here just before I came and you can see he’s a top-class young talent, but I always have to respect he’s a Monaco player,’ said the Northern Irishman.
‘I’m sure there will be discussions between the two of us and we’ll see where their intentions are.
He’s certainly a player that I would love to continue working with.’
