United set to battle Foxes for Monaco ace Tielemans
Manchester United are reportedly the latest club interested in signing Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans in the summer.
The 21-year-old moved to United’s Premier League rivals Leicester in January on a six-month loan deal that saw Adrien Silva go in the opposite direction and he has put in a series of superb displays for the East Midlanders.
The Belgium international has started seven Premier League games and provided the pass for Jamie Vardy to tuck away Leicester’s second goal as they beat Bournemouth 2-0 on Saturday.
Afterwards, boss Brendan Rodgers stressed that he would happily sign Tielemans on a permanent basis, but added that the situation was out of his hands.
And now reports have emerged that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sign the player with the possibility of Spanish midfield star Ander Herrera departing Old Trafford for Paris Saint-Germain on a free contract in the summer.
