Scott Bain says Celtic will be confident of taking another step towards the Treble-Treble when they face Hibernian on Sunday.

Easter Road has been a notoriously tricky ground for the Hoops in recent seasons, but Celtic secured a comfortable 2-0 win there under Neil Lennon in the Scottish Cup quarter-final in March.

Celtic can move within one win of their eighth straight title this weekend and Bain insists the squad cannot wait to wrap up the Premiership crown.

‘The team is full of confidence,’ said the Hoops goalkeeper.

‘We have an unbelievable clean-sheet record as we’ve conceded only three goals since we’ve been back.

We can hopefully go on to this next game and get a step closer to getting the title.

‘Our focus now is solely on wrapping up the league and after that we can start thinking about the cup final.

‘It’s always a tough game against Hibs at Easter Road but we showed in the Scottish Cup game there that we can get the job done.

We have players of great quality.

Jamesy [Forrest] had a great finish at Easter Road the last time we played.

If we can play to our ability, then we believe we can beat anyone anywhere.’
