Demirbay in demand amid £22m clause
Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay reportedly has a release clause of £22million and Arsenal are tipped to trigger it this summer.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is on the lookout for new midfielders when the transfer window opens as he has a gaping hole to fill when Aaron Ramsey departs for Juventus.
And Demirbay could be one player he turns to amid claims the 25-year-old has a release clause of £22million, while it’s believed he would be keen on testing himself in the Premier League.
Demirbay has weighed in with four goals and eight assists in all competitions for Hoffenheim so far this season and his stature is growing around Europe with several top clubs keeping an eye on him.
Arsenal appear to be leading the chase to sign him but other English clubs, and some from Italy and Spain, are also interested.
