Icardi set for summer switch
Argentina striker Mauro Icardi is being linked with a move away from Inter Milan this summer with Juventus said to be keen.
The 26-year-old will have two years left on his present contract come the summer and the club are keen for him to sign a new deal but reports in Italy claim that is not going to happen.
Apparently the Nerazzurri’s desire to increase his release clause to 220 million euros has been a problem, with Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara, informing the club he is thinking about moving.
In a fall-out that has been played out through the media from both sides the player was stripped of the captaincy in February.
Icardi then told Inter chiefs that he would only continue extension talks if the Italians sought to rehabilitate his standing at the San Siro.
Real Madrid have also been linked with the player as Zinadine Zidane looks to overhaul his squad but Juventus look to have first choice.
