Inter make move for target
Inter Milan have made the first move in the transfer tussle to land Lille star Nicolas Pepe but they face an uphill battle to land him.
Lille’s president has made it clear they will not be able to afford to keep him in the summer as he has moved up to a higher level, so he will be sold on.
Inter are not the only interested party as Arsenal boss Unai Emery is very keen, while both Liverpool and Bayern Munich have been linked.
According to reports in France, Inter have made a written offer of 70million euros for Pepe, who will make a decision about his future after Lille’s Ligue 1 clash against Lyon on the May 5.
He dreams about playing in the Champions League and looks likely to get his wish this summer.
