Onyekuru offered double his wages to stay – Report
Henry Onyekuru will discuss his future in the summer as Galatasaray prepare a double-your-money contract for the Everton loanee.
Onyekuru has spent the last two seasons away from Goodison Park because of work permit problems and has impressed for Galatasaray this term – scoring 15 goals for the Istanbul outfit.
The Nigerian has confirmed that the Turkish giants are hoping to sign him permanently with Fotomac claiming they are prepared to double his wages.
‘For now, I am still a player of Everton.
I want to stay focused to finish the season on a good note, before sitting down with Everton and my agent to discuss where my future lies,’ he told Football Live on Wednesday.
‘It is true, Galatasaray wants me to stay.
That decision rests on to my agent.
‘ Fotomac claims that Onyekuru is currently being paid around £20,000-a-week by the Toffees but Galatasaray are willing to offer him a £40,000-a-week deal to convince him to prolong his stay at Turk Telekom Arena.
