Barcelona linked with Griezmann switch
Reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona will still try to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann this summer.
The Frenchman turned down a move to the Nou Camp last summer before then signing a new long-term contract with Atletico.
He has been unable to help Los Colchoneros to win a trophy this season under Diego Simeone, but he has still scored 15 La Liga goals in 35 appearances.
Griezmann’s new contract contains a £103million release clause but Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona chiefs are ready to make their move once the season concludes.
Barca coach Ernesto Valverde has yet to replace Paco Alcacer and Munir El Haddadi, who joined Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla respectively.
Kevin Prince-Boateng and Philippe Coutinho are also being linked with the exit door and Griezmann could soon find himself in the Barca team alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
